Data Override Facility
HPI data is sourced from a variety of suppliers and sometimes this raw data is not absolutely correct.
Heavy investment has been made in HPI core systems so that where source data is known to be inaccurate it is now overwritten with the correct information.
A team is dedicated to validating data which means customers can have confidence in the quality of data that is received.
Extended Data Set
Engine data is critical to ensure precise matching to parts catalogues and ordering the right part first time.
Working with a variety of suppliers and validating each field to maximise accuracy, the HPI VRM lookup facility now includes key information such as engine code and bhp.
New Data Providers
Where the level of specialist engine data was not prolific enough from existing data providers, HPI has acquired additional information from other sources.
New suppliers have allowed access to data which includes some European vehicle manufacturer data previously unavailable in the UK.
Updated Data
As well as adding new data sets, HPI have invested heavily in maintaining current data to ensure you get the very best data available. Over 3 million records have now been updated with range and series data.
TecDoc
HPI and TecDoc continue to work together to offer the only TecDoc approved VRM lookup in the UK which includes the TecDoc Ktype number.
The above enhancements have all meant that the matching process to the TecDoc Ktype number has been improved. Current match rate is now in excess of 90%.
